Universal Tile was founded over 30 years ago with a simple but powerful vision: to bring the beauty, craftsmanship, and timeless quality of Italian porcelain tile to Connecticut and all of New England. Rooted in deep Italian heritage, our founders took great pride in sourcing tile directly from Italy—sharing a tradition of excellence that has been perfected over generations.

From the very beginning, Universal Tile has stood for more than just tile. It has stood for hard work, integrity, and doing things the right way. Our commitment to quality and service was shaped by Antonio “Tony Sr.”, whose dedication, work ethic, and passion for excellence built the foundation of our company. Though we have recently lost Tony Sr., his spirit, values, and unwavering standards live on in everything we do.
